We are a family, home based business who’s passion for pooches has become a passion for helping people and their dog’s understand each other to get the most out of their relationship.

We have been in the dog industry for a combined 20 plus years! Training for over 5 years, with a background as a veterinarian assistant for 14 years as well as some experience in the show ring! Moonstone is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, Canadian Kennel Club, Dog Trainer Tribe Academy. We are experienced and committed to ongoing education in all areas of training, grooming, and canine nutrition. We are specialists in building a solid relationship between you and your dog!

Sam Dobbin

Sam’s passion for pets began at an early age, owing a variety of pets, including, ferrets, sugar gliders, reptiles and of course, DOGS!

A love shared by the whole family, the Dobbin family has been an active member of the canine companion industry for years, so it was only natural that she followed the same path, beginning with showing dogs at the age of 12 with her grandmother, then became a vet assistant in 2004.
With 18 years of experience in the animal industry it was time to take on a creative approach with grooming, in addition to grooming Sam manages a busy Veterinary practice.

Samantha is a JKL certified groomer, specializing in poodles and a member of the National Groomer Association of Canada.

Her background in Veterinary health provides each dog with a breed specified groom focused on individual skin and coat needs.

Tracey Dobbin

Tracey’s love for animals was nurtured as a young child, her mom was easy going and let her and her siblings bring home any and all strays they found. As an adult her focus turned to raising her own family but animals were always a part of that and with her mom now an avid Boxer breeder, dogs were always a focus of the family. After her children had grown it only made sense to place her energies and time into a her love for dogs. Trained under the guidance of a knowledgeable, well respected trainer, Karen Laws (IACP- CDT/CDTA/PDTI), Owner of Ontario Dog Trainer and founder of The Dog Trainer T.R.I.B.E Academy.

Tracey has been training dogs full time for the past 6 years and has had the pleasure of working with numerous owners and dogs of varying ages and breeds since moving to beautiful South Surrey, British Columbia. As a trainer with passion for continued education, Tracey keeps up to date on the most effective techniques to get proven results for you and your pet.

A Professional Member of the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals) and
Member of the Dog Trainer T.R.I.B.E. Academy. Tracey has completed courses in Dogmanship with Chad Mackin and Relationship Based Behaviour Modification with Nelson Hodges
Registered with the CKC and Certified Raw Dog Food Nutrition Specialist.
